- Principle
- A non-ionic, non-fluorescent sheath fluid free of azide, used in flow cytometers where cells are guided by hydrodynamic focusing to pass the laser beam in single file. The sheath fluid surrounds the sample stream in the flow cell, reducing particulate and fluorescence background for good signal-to-noise measurements.
